Cookies and Storage
What the site keeps in your browser, and why.
Last updated 5 November 2026
In short
MedicalPassbook uses only what it needs to work and to remember your choices. We use no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking, so there is no cookie banner to dismiss.
What we store
- Sign-in session: a secure cookie that keeps you signed in. It cannot be read by page scripts.
- Sign-in hint: a small note in local storage so the header shows the right button before the session check finishes. It holds no personal data.
- Preferences: your text size, light or dark theme and app text setting, kept in local storage on your device.
- Language: the language you pick is part of the page address.
- Intro seen: a session note so the opening animation plays once per visit.
Analytics
We do not use third-party analytics or advertising scripts on this site.
Clearing it
You can clear cookies and site data in your browser settings at any time. You will be signed out and your display preferences will reset. Blocking the sign-in cookie will stop you from using your Passbook.
If this changes
If we ever add anything beyond what is listed, we will update this page first and ask for your permission where the law requires it.
