Guide

From a photo to a plan, step by step.

Everything MedicalPassbook does, in the order you will use it.

Getting started

  1. Create your Passbook

Sign up with your mobile number. Your own Passbook is ready straight away.

  2. Add the people you care for

Add a parent, a spouse or a child. Each person gets a Passbook of their own, so records never get mixed up.

  3. Photograph a prescription

Take a clear photo of the paper in good light. MedicalPassbook reads it and drafts the medicines, timings and follow-up.

  4. Check and confirm

Read each line against the paper. Fix anything that looks wrong. Nothing is scheduled until you tap confirm.

  5. Follow the plan

Reminders arrive at the right time of day, with food precautions linked to each medicine.

  6. Share with a doctor

Choose what to share and for how long. Every share has an end date, and you can revoke it in one tap.

Good to know

Reading a prescription

A pattern like 1-0-1 means one dose in the morning, none at noon and one at night. MedicalPassbook shows it in words so nobody has to decode it.

The emergency card

A single screen with allergies, current medicines and who to call. Keep it where family and responders can reach it.

Large text and Hindi

Switch between English and हिन्दी, and enlarge the text, from the header and the footer.

Several families, several cities

Siblings in different cities can co-manage a parent's Passbook, as long as the parent has said yes.

Questions

Does MedicalPassbook give medical advice?

No. It helps you follow your doctor's advice and never replaces it. In an emergency, call 112.

What if the photo is read wrongly?

That is why you confirm every line. Edit anything before you confirm, and nothing is scheduled until then.

Who can see my parent's records?

Only people your parent has agreed to, and anyone you share with, until the share ends. Every view is logged.

Can I try it without real records?

Yes. Open a sample Passbook to explore with example data. It is clearly labelled as a sample.
