Terms of Use
The rules for using MedicalPassbook, written to be read.
Last updated 5 November 2026
1. Agreeing to these terms
By creating a Passbook or using the website you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. You must be 18 or older to create an account; a parent or guardian manages a child's Passbook.
2. What MedicalPassbook is
MedicalPassbook helps you keep prescriptions, reports and medicines together, get reminders, and share records with people you choose.
It is a personal organising tool. It is not a medical device, a clinic, a pharmacy or an official health ID, and it does not diagnose or treat anything.
3. Your account
- Give accurate information and keep your password private.
- You are responsible for activity under your account.
- Tell us at once if you think someone else has access.
4. Other people's Passbooks
You may add or manage another adult's Passbook only with their agreement, and for a child only as their parent or lawful guardian. Do not add records about someone without the right to do so. If a person withdraws their agreement, you must stop managing their Passbook.
5. Checking what the software drafts
We read prescriptions with software and show you a draft. You must compare it with the original and correct it before you confirm. Once you confirm, the plan and reminders are your responsibility. If anything is unclear, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
6. Sharing
You decide what to share, with whom and for how long. A share ends on its end date or when you revoke it. Anything a recipient has already seen or saved cannot be taken back, so share with people you trust.
7. What you must not do
- Use the service for anything unlawful, or to harm, harass or deceive anyone.
- Upload records you have no right to upload, or material that is not a health record.
- Try to break into, overload or reverse engineer the service, or access another person's data.
- Use the service to give medical advice to others as if it came from us.
8. Your content
Your records remain yours. You give us permission to store, process and display them only as needed to run the service for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. Reviews you send may be published with your permission.
9. Availability and changes
We work to keep the service running, but it may be interrupted, and reminders can fail to arrive, for example if your phone is off or has no signal. Do not rely on MedicalPassbook as your only way to take essential medicines on time. We may improve, change or retire features, and will give notice of changes that significantly affect you.
10. Limits of our responsibility
The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for decisions you make about your health, for errors in drafts you confirmed, for missed or late reminders, or for loss that was not a reasonably foreseeable result of our fault.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Ending your use
You can delete your Passbook or account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk, and will explain why unless the law prevents us.
12. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in India have jurisdiction. Please raise a concern with us first through the contact details on the Your data rights page so we can try to fix it.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell signed-in users before it applies. Using the service after the date means you accept the update.
